Maseno University Council, Staff and Students are saddened by passing on of Professor Fredrick N Onyango who was until his death the Director New and Renewable Energy Directorate and immediate former Vice Chancellor of Maseno University. Professor Onyango died on 11 May 2012 at Nairobi Hospital. The body of the late professor was laid to rest at his rural home in South Nyanza (Awendo) on 26 May 2012.
