OBJECTIVES
1.To empower students with knowledge and understanding of the earth in its entirety including, the lithosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and natural resources.
2.To equip the  students with geographical  skills namely: Remote Sensing, Surveying and GIS that enables  them to solve spatial  Issues
3.To train   students to be able to contribute towards building of knowledge through research in geographical phenomena and sustainable use of resource.
4.To produce graduates who are well equipped to deal with spatial- temporal changes in the utilization, conservation and management of natural resour

Admission Requirement

To be admitted to the   programme BSC Geography and Natural Resource Management with IT applicants m

Satisfy the minimum entry requirements for admission to the university.
Satisfy the entry requirements for the admission to the School of Environment and Earth Sciences which must be at least a C+ in Geography and a C+ in Mathematics.

PROGRAMME DURATION

The duration of the programme shall normally be four academic years
COURSE STRUCTURE

a)       The program offers courses in terms of units as defined by the university.

b)       There are core and elective courses. Core courses are mandatory, while elective courses may be chosen by students from an approved list of courses, in fulfilling the full-time load requirements as spelt by the university

c)       The normal full-time load for one academic year shall be at least fourteen (14) units but not more than sixteen (16) units
