Maseno University Political Science Association (MUPOSA) members in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung held their 5th debate at the Botanic Garden. The debate with the motion Sustainable Development in Kenya : Prospects and Challenges in using coal and renewable sources of energy. The aim of holding this event was to focus on sustainable renewable and non renewable energy in the development of Kenya as it acts as a platform for its members from first to fourth year to get exposure in this field.

MUPOSA was formed with an aim to create a vibrant movement to give its students exposure and platform to interact on subjects affecting the country and its solutions

This organisation was registered in November 2018 under Maseno University .
MUPOSA provides parallel employment opportunities and mentorship for its students through its parton Thomas Mboya.
