REFRESHER COURSE NFP ALUMNI ORGANIZATION
Planning for Cycling in Sub-Sahara African Cities: 24th September- 5th October 2012.
Inclusive planning of cycling into transport and urban development planning is essential for creating sustainable and livable communities in African cities. This interdisciplinary refresher course will explore the core concepts of cycling-inclusive urban planning and discuss strategies related to creating effective and comprehensive bicycle master plans.

HON. DR. KENNETH MARENDE PAYS A COURTESY CALL TO THE UNIVERSITY The Speaker of the Kenya National Assembly, Hon. Dr. Kenneth Marende EGH, ACIArb, MP, Hon. D.Litt(MSU), paid a courtesy visit to Maseno University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dominic Makawiti. The Speaker was from opening a workshop in Naivasha on Public Participation on Legislative Business in line with conforming to the new constitution. Hon. Marende was received by the Vice-Chancellor at College Campus. Thereafter they had a meeting at the Vice-Chancellors Office before the Speaker headed to his rural home.
eCampus PROGRAMMES, 2012 MAY INTAKE
Maseno University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for eLearning modules leading to the certificate, diploma and degree programmes listed below. Several Level 1 eLearning modules (equivalent to Year 1) leading to these programmes will be on offer as from May 2012. eLearning modules are delivered online through the eCampus of Maseno University, with some support material provided on CD/DVD-ROM and print.
