Prof. Iddah Otieno, a Maseno University alumnus and a Professor of English & African Studies at the Bluegrass Community &Technical College (USA) visits Maseno University.

Prof. Iddah Otieno, a Maseno University alumnus and a Professor of English & African Studies at the Bluegrass Community &  Technical College (USA) visits Maseno University.

During her visit, she paid a courtesy call on the Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Partnership, Research and Innovation (PRI) Prof. Erick Nyambedha who gave her a warm reception at his office in main campus.

Prof. Iddah expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and she affirmed her commitment to renewing an MOU between Maseno University and Bluegrass Community & Technical College which has been operational since the year 2003 which was signed and implemented by the late VCs Prof. Fredrick Onyango and Prof. Dominick Makawiti.

At the meeting, there was also a discussion on the possibilities of a joint grant opportunities of mutual  benefit to Maseno University and Bluegrass. This collaboration would see Maseno University’s certificate, Diploma and even undergraduate students benefit from taking Bluegrass Community & Technical College courses online.

Also present at the meeting were; Maseno University’s Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ASA) Prof. Stephen Ogendo,Director of Research, Prof. Collins Ouma and the Director, Public Relations Dr. Owen MCOnyango.
