International Condoms Day

Maseno University joins the rest of the World in commemorating International Condoms Day. 

The AIDS Control Unit together with other partners  have planned a series of activities for students as a reminder to practice safety when being with their intimate partners during Valentine's and that condoms are still effective in preventing unintended Pregnancies and STIs including HIV.

On 14th Feb 2023, Valentine's Day, there shall be a sensitization drive at the Graduation Square from 10am to 4pm. During this event, students shall interact and engage with health care providers and their peers on matters sexual and gender based violence, unintended Pregnancies, STIs including HIV and HIV self testing. Those who shall need to know their HIV status can visit the AIDS Control Unit.

On 15th Feb 2023, the sensitization drive shall be virtual through zoom. Watch this space for the joining link.
