LOGO Design Content
Calling all students with a creative spark!
You might have noticed that the current website is quite boring – we know! And that is why we need YOUR help.
The INSSPIRE Project is looking for official logo and visual identity. We are seeking students from Kenya and Uganda with a creative spark to design a creative, professional and eye-catching logo design with accompanying style guide that will grasp project mission in an interesting way. The logo is project’s first introduction to target audiences, inviting them to learn more about it. Overall, it should communicate a project story in a simple and appealing way.
Please read below for more details regarding logo design, contest rules & submission requirements.

The contest is open to students from:
- Maseno University
- South Eastern Kenya University

Submission guidelines
The purpose of the contest is to design a logo and accompanying style guide for the INSSPIRE project. It must be appropriate for a professional business setting.
The logo will be used on all project documents, online (project website, social media profiles, videos, etc.) and in print (project newsletter, letterheads).
Flexibility is very important – the logo must be easily resized, it should look good in Black&White as well as in colour. The final version needs to be suitable for high quality printing. Logo should be in RGB and CMYK versions.
The logo should include the word “INSSPIRE” (double S), all other aspects are your creative input (colours, typography, etc.). See more about the project to come up with appropriate style guide.
Style guide should include logo, typography (1 font for titles and one for longer texts), colour scheme (at least 5 colours in both RGB and CMYK) that will be used in documents, website etc. It should also include a “story” behind colours and the included elements
In the style guide, also provide instructions on how to use the logo and other elements (when to use each version, how to position it and also how NOT to position it).
For more information about the INSSPIRE project, check the About page.
The entries must be appropriate for high quality printing and re-sizing and submitted in scalable vector graphic format.
If the entry is too big for sending over email, send it over WeTransfer or similar file sharing system and attach link in the email (together with necessary information).
To recap: entry must consist of a style guide (PDF) and logo (.AI, .SVG or equivalent).
