PREAMBLE

Examination is a mechanism used to gauge whether students are following the academic programmes. Consequently, the product of the programme is substantially determined by the quality of the examination. To ensure that the public and private sectors get an appropriate labor force, the examination process must be well structured and properly managed in order to properly identify students who have accomplished the expected learning outcomes. It is against this background that Maseno University has developed this policy to guide the examination process.
