Maseno University proudly celebrates its Third Cultural Week under the theme “Our Culture, Our Heritage, Our Wealth.” The event highlights the vital role of culture as a source of identity, unity, and development within the University’s diverse community.
The celebrations officially commenced with a colorful procession from the Administration Block, where Prof. Regina Nyunja, Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Partnerships, Research and Innovations, flagged off the weeklong event alongside Prof. Rose Anyango, Director of Linkages, Outreach and Consultancies. It also emphasizes the importance of preserving heritage while recognizing culture as a valuable resource for creativity, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Through this celebration, Maseno University reaffirms its commitment to promoting cultural diversity and strengthening appreciation of heritage as a shared wealth.
