Greetings! On behalf of the Academic and Student Affairs Division of Maseno University, I welcome you to our University and its website.

We are pleased that you have the opportunity to visit and interact with us on our many exciting projects and the programmes we offer. The website provides an opportunity to showcase the wonderful work on student development, support departments and what students are doing on and outside Campus, responding to the call to contribute to knowledge generation and developing the society at large.

The Division of Administration, Finance and Development has continued to play its pivot role of facilitating the activities of the Academic and Student Affairs and Partnerships, Research and International Linkages Divisions by resourcing them promptly and adequately through quality administrative systems and actions, provision of quality and relevant human resources, provision of desired finances as well as maintaining a conducive physical and work environments to deliver on their mandates. 

I am the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Partnerships, Research and Innovations. I bring extensive experience in academic leadership and scientific research. Having previously served at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) as Head of Department of Biological Sciences and later Dean, School of Biological and Physical Sciences. 

My notable achievements include; the development of the first PhD programme at Maseno University, published a series of academic papers which have appeared in reputable peer reviewed journals, taken charge of academic and administrative functions of different academic departments, schools, and faculties.

Prof. Nyabundi is the immediate former Principal of Muranga University College and a former Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (A&F) at Maseno University. He had previously served as the Managing Director, Chemelil Sugar Company. He is a renowned scholar who has published widely in refereed journals and has presented papers in local and international conferences. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California.

I am enthusiastic professional willing to contribute significantly to the growth and development of any organization to which I seek to serve, having over 25 years of experience in different fields.
